Iconography influences

M83's 'Steve McQueen' music video

I love the close ups of props such as the cassette tape and sound control, creating the affect of a dated music video and how this 80's era has an impact on M83, alike SPCTRM. 

The first screenshot is an extreme close up the actors face, with another video layer on top creating a dreamy affect. I would love to use the same technique in our music video, at the beginning where the girl opens her eyes.

Filming - Planning

We have planned to film in school, in the drama studios in our double lesson on Monday. This will be footage of the girl in a dark space with some lighting.

On Tuesday we'll be filming in Soho after school; footage of London on a VHS camera effect.
